Terms of Service

By using the SkipperDesk platform ("Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the Platform.

SkipperDesk is a cloud-based maritime management platform for vessel owners, captains, crew, and agencies. The Platform offers the following services: • Vessel management and tracking • Crew and personnel management • Financial management (cash, expenses, fuel tracking) • Voyage planning and management • Maintenance tracking • Reporting and analytics

You need to create an account to use the Platform. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide during account creation is accurate and up to date. You are responsible for your account security (including your password). You are responsible for all activities performed with your account.

As Platform users, you agree to: • Use the Platform only for lawful purposes • Respect the rights of other users • Avoid actions that could compromise Platform security • Not share misleading, false, or harmful content • Not use the Platform for reverse engineering or copying purposes • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

All content, design, code, logos, and trademarks on the Platform belong to SkipperDesk and are protected by intellectual property rights. They may not be copied, distributed, or modified without written permission. You retain ownership rights over the data you upload to the Platform.

The Platform offers different subscription plans. The free trial period is 30 days. For paid subscriptions: • Payments are collected monthly or annually • Prices are stated including tax • Cancellation requests become effective from the next billing period • Our refund policy is applied in accordance with applicable legislation

Subscription cancellation and refund conditions are as follows: • Right of Withdrawal: In accordance with Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, the right of withdrawal for digital content and services expires once the service performance has begun. After purchasing a subscription and starting to use the service, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised. • Subscription Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through the dashboard or by emailing support@skipperdesk.io. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain full access until the period ends. • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. Cancellation must be made at least 3 days before the renewal date. • Refunds: No partial refunds are issued for unused periods. However, if the service is completely unusable due to a technical issue, a full refund evaluation will be conducted upon documentation. • Free Trial: No charges are incurred during the 30-day free trial. If cancelled within the trial period, no payment obligation arises. • Refund Requests: Refund requests should be sent to support@skipperdesk.io and will be processed within 10 business days.

SkipperDesk reserves the right to modify Platform features, pricing, or availability without prior notice. Users will be informed about significant changes.

The Platform is provided "as is". SkipperDesk: • Does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation • Is not responsible for decisions users make through the Platform • Has limited liability for data loss, business loss, or indirect damages • Is not responsible for interruptions due to force majeure (natural disasters, war, infrastructure failures, etc.) The Platform is a maritime management tool and does not replace official maritime documents or certificates.

SkipperDesk may suspend or terminate accounts that violate the terms of use without prior notice. You may close your account at any time. In case of account closure, your data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Istanbul Courts and Execution Offices have jurisdiction over disputes.
